Now this scheme was ran by the 2 time champ Randy LaJoie for Vision Racing, owned by Adrian Berryhill - yes, the father of Tanner, small world. They had missed the show for their first attempt at Kansas, but they made it in for Texas, qualifying last. However, LaJoie dropped out about 70 laps in due to brake issues and ended up 41st. That Texas race was the last attempt for the team until 2012 and was also the last race that LaJoie made as a driver.
