Tracks cursed...
PSA: It's not a combo that gets figured out in 1 sitting, I know that much. Land mines everywhere! Only safe place is the oval portion and that's only if you're single file. Then you need to get on and off of said portion. The entire infield is a spin/crash waiting to happen. Takes 50 laps to learn how not to crash. Then 50 more to figure out how not to crash for 25 straight laps. Then anything above that you can learn how to make time. Probably 100 resets just to get off pit road and 1 good lap on cold tires.. Guys who've not put in a ton of time on or offline are in for an even longer night then the rest of us! 1st lap is gonna be eventful to say the least! Can't wait!! :openedeyewink: x'D

* Haven't blown a front tire yet, so don't think that's possible? But have blown 2 rears, spinning on the oval.. You blow a rear tire and it's probably 2 minutes or more getting back to pit road. If not longer..

so yer saying we need to pit
Yes, you all should pit! `6` I don't see any way to make up the time it takes to pit, unless whoever you're racing makes a bunch of mistakes or pits as well.. After about 10-15 laps my setup falls off about a second (running perfect laps) but even on new tires you'll have to push to make up time and that'll create mistakes as well. Just race the race track is my advice. If you get to trying to race an opponent, you better be on your game! Blown tires shouldn't be a problem unless you spin on the oval and it doesn't matter if they're new or old in that case, far as I can tell.

@Highbank put these ta2 cars in the junkyard were they belong along with the crappy tires----THE MOD ITSELF IS JUNK ---- ull figure it out what cars i like ---

The rest of us can drive them just fine, it comes down to a variety of factors. you need a good setup, patience, and lots of practice. The server says you have run 16 laps... you can't run 16 laps and expect to be able to compete with the people who have run 100 laps. Those 16 were done over the course of the week in groups of 3-8; you need to run laps back to back to back so that you get the flow of the track. It is going to be hard, that's the point. It gives you a better appreciation for what real-life drivers have to deal with. When I first started, I would show up with barely any practice and wonder how people were way faster than me, but as I've gotten deeper into the experience I have recognized that I need to practice in order to be competitive. Some people might not practice as much, but that's ok. Each person here knows their potential, and practices to the point where they feel they are comfortable with the track. It seems like you have come here expecting to be able to drive this like a Forza game and be able to be competing for a win. The rest of us are driving the exact same car as you and are able to wheel it around a circuit faster than you simply because we put in the work. I don't know if you practice offline, so if you do my point is invalid. We are all on equal footing in terms of car capabilities, some of us may be faster than others and that's ok, but just because you are not as fast as the rest of us doesn't mean that this mod is junk. The laps mick and mike put up at sebring were pretty realistic when compared to the laps the real drivers put up. This just shows that these cars are actually a pretty good representation of the real-life cars.
Sim-racing is what you make it, you might not be the best. Heck, 'most everyone here is not that good in the grand scheme of things. we aren't here because we are good, we are here because it is fun. Each and every one of us has potential; some might have a higher ceiling than others, but we recognize that and have fun anyways. I came here to race... and stayed for the community.

(if you are joking, then this whole message is useless)

Angry just quit the site which I believe means I wasted 20 bucks trying to bring home in, @The_Tigg can reimburse me LOL, seriously, after he sent me a PM which basically said we all were not so great as drivers, and gave me a list of very substandard street-cars as better choices to run, I was wondering exactly how to deal with him, he doesn't fit the "Zoom Drivers Attitude and Practices" standards so I was going to bounce him, he saved me that unpleasantness...

it’s net positions lost/gained. last race, mick had 4 people pass him for position, and he passed 1 person. this results in a net loss of 3 positions. bill made 2 passes and got passed 2 times, resulting in a net 0 position gain
