Hey, all. Was wondering if someone could help me test something out. The NASCAR 2/99 palette is one of the most evil things I've ever encountered, but I think I've bested it. Here's a short walkthrough of what this experiment entails:

Bradford is a fella I made this video for, so just ignore that part ha.

What it involves:
-Downloading and installing GIMP 2.8.0 (this version number exactly) from File Hippo here: https://filehippo.com/download_the-gimp-32/history/ - These older versions of GIMP play much nicer with PCX files, which is what the game uses. I can not for the life of me get this Nascar 2 palette working with the more recent GIMP versions.
-Download the ACpaintkit attached to this post. Check out the date on that Nascar2.pal file. Wow!
-Follow a few minutes of a walkthrough in the YouTube video above.
-VERY IMPORTANT: At the end, when you draw something on the car, be sure not to draw over the color chart at the bottom of the file.
-If you don't have the game, you could simply attach the pcx file to your reply here and I'll take it from there and report the results.

I'm 99.99% sure this will work. I just have a nagging feeling GIMP is using another palette on my local somewhere I don't know about since I've been testing and testing this, and I want to be sure that's not happening. I'm just hoping at least one person takes up this challenge because if this works on someone's computer other than mine, then anyone else not being able to figure it out would be a skill issue rather than a compatibility problem. Thanks for reading!
