For Race Points Manager how does it determine drivers and receiving points when imported? I'm running a fictional '98 season and want some drivers to start in T-Birds and change eventually to the Taurus. I just realized I have everyone as generic, but does car make matter when calculating driver points or am I confusing that with Score 4? Is it based off of the driver name? Does the driver number have anything to do with it? I'm trying to find out what the identifier is when you import. Any info would be great for clarification sake.

If you click on the Roster button on the bottom of the main viewer, there you can edit each driver line to have the appropriate manufacturer and car number.

Like with Score 4, it takes the name of the driver (In Score 4 it's called "Online ID", in RPM, it's "Handle") from the html file created when you export the results from a race and uses that to extract what driver it needs to attach that data to. Both scoring programs allows one to enter an alternate name for use in their respective outputs. For example "T Player" in NR2003 can become "Dale Earnhardt" if that's what you have the Score4/RPM name set to, assuming you left the Online ID/Handle alone.

Car Number, Team Name, and Manufacturer are all just flavor texts that increase the immersion of the output files. I know RPM also allows for one to put in what date someone joined and their email address, but I just leave those blank since they're not relevant to the points in the end.
