I can't get either of my Windows 10 machines to run GPL properly.

I've used D3d forever with GPL but a couple of weeks ago, I went to join my Tuesday night league race and it would make a tiny window in the upper left and then drop back to GEM+.

I tried OGL and it worked, although it takes a lot longer to load, pribluda text is way too big and fuzzy, the resolution isn't as good and when I hit the button to get in at the start of the race, it takes so long to load that I almost miss the green dropping while it's sitting there loading.

Try OGL?

That's exactly what's happening! A part of me is happy it's just not me experiencing this quarter screen. I haven't looked a SRM to see if anyone else has the issue, I just looked at the old fixes at that GPL ultimate link site.

Have you tried OGL V2? The graphics are better and so is the load time, even tho it's a square screen it's not just a quarter of it, but the whole thing! Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, I'm running in OGL v 2 now since D3d v2 did the tiny screen and then back to GEM+. I haven't tried the other settings (voodoo, rendition, etc) since OGL is working, slowly. My video card is ATI/AMD and past history tells me they don't like OGL, but it's been a while since I was knowledgeable about hardware and software combos.

It's got to be some kind of update since it was working fine up until just a few weeks ago. Darned near missed the league race and when I did get in, all my setting were wrong and the race was about to start! So the narrow, standard 78 degree view mixed with the tiny 12" monitor made being competitive impossible. I used to run it at 90 degrees, I think? I know I could see to the sides a lot better and that narrow view combined with the tiny screen has made it so I'm afraid to run wheel to wheel. And we were at Zandvoort, which has very limited passing zones so I dropped a lot of points. Went from 2nd in points with a decent advantage to dropping to 3rd in 2 weeks, but that's no biggie. I race for fun, not points.

Did you get it running in OGL or does it still drop back to GEM+.
