Anybody use these updates

Hi,
Have you used these updates below and is it worth it, I don't want to have to reset everything if it going to change everything.

Complete Simulator Updates

Nextel Cup Series 2005 Update 1.0 (330mb) – SS.net – Formerly hosted on superspeedway.net, this is a big ass updater for NR2003 including backgrounds and the 2005 NNC Update.

One Week Later (Nextel 2005) Update 1.0 (13mb) – SS.net – This goes together with the big ass update from above. Run this one second.

I don't want to have to reset everything if it going to change everything.

Once you've done a fresh install of N2k3... if you used the 'No-CD' exe you can copy and paste the folder in different places/renamed where needed to have multiply installs - game versions.

IIRC that's a mip update to change all logos from 'NASCAR Cup Series' to NASCAR Nextel Cup etc
