Zoom AMS2 Testing Info

UGH, Tried to setup an AMS2 server for us...

Dang, I tried for some time late last night setup a server on the VPS that I setup the NR2003 server on.
They actually have a dedicated server program and an installation script but it just will not show up on the server list.
Like what the heck!? If I can get old azz NR2003 going on a VPS no problem... by this time they should have it dialed in to where you run a program that asks a few questions and it just about sets itself up. Such a lack of info. It is working for some people and not others and I can find no reason why.
Ports are open for it.
The server executable starts and connects to Steam and seems to settle in fine and shows it is running but it WILL NOT SHOW UP ON THE DANG ONLINE LIST!!
I followed a video even, it worked for them but not I of course, I get stoked just to be bummed, UGH.
(It is like)Just cuz this will be needed now I cannot get it to work yet I could get all my NR2003 stuff going (seemingly) because no one was going to care LOL.
Life pisses me off in this way too often LOL.

Anyone have any ideas?
I am going to see where I can get more info, message the creators or something.
If we get this on a VPS dedicated server then it should stay up regardless if someone is on or not. And it should help with setting up the server with settings we want that will stay put.
Was hoping to have a present... it is supposed to work, so maybe still possible..

Right I know but the above can be a problem, and I think the gameplay may possibly suffer if running from the same PC or connection as one is playing from.
This way it could be set and done properly.
The server will be coming from a totally different place.
If the host has a dropout does it affect all? It won't on dedicated..
Anyway, you are supposed to be able to do it this way...

And I would like another good reason to hold onto this VPS I am paying for... So maybe IF by some grace of God, some magic, some small minute possibility I can actually get a good group of people to run my dang track with me too LOL. I feel as though I am always stuck on Fly Paper or something with life Ha.

Oh well, whatever, nevermind, ha.

I might as well cancel it soon(the VPS), I can't ever seem to plan anything to happen, just follow others plans. I just get nothing but negative when I do anything anymore.
Like I am racing all alone in life... no one else there, no one cares.
The more I try to find some happiness the more I just get let down...

I would of , mr. pretty mouth, but I was looking for some of you guys to play with.. I settled for a public lobby from Reiza called "LOBBY" that was setup with multiple classes ( F1 and GT3 ) running at in the dark.. Nothing like running off in the corner at Spa and having an F1 car pass you that you didn't even know what there, then disappear into the darkness..

Here's how far I got with AMS2 server.



Shows on Web interface and seems like running state but No Listy on Listy.... NoSee no Racey, No Likey.
Video of working setup has an "X" in Joinable also but he goes on to show it listed and connects etc. no problem. What gives with this Reiza/Madness Engine guys? It is same method used in PC2 it seems.
Crazy. I would think this stuff would be so totally no problem almost completely dialed in by now. Had like 20 years to perfect this sorta things at least LOL. Since before NR2003, Games, Net code etc. should be about the same problems and workings since way back then.. Oh well. Limburger Smells. ha.

OK Guys, I was able to get the dedicated server working! No one has to keep a computer running.
I may be able to install that Livestats thing maybe also now to my webspace if I/we can figure it out.

Server should always stay up. "ZOOM TEST" Same PW as other.

This is on a VPS that is not a canned buy it AMS or NR2003 etc server. it is a blank Microsoft Server 2019 and you install what you are going to be using. Costs less than the pre-made deals and you are in total control.
More options this way.

I setup the Liveview thing(not Livestats like I said above) in my webspace but did not get it to connect to my race in the brief testing I did. need to dog more. WOOF! WOOF! er wait I meant I need to DIG more LOL. Fumble-Fingers saw later. ha. Need to dig at it like a dog?
Liveview in my space that's at my place that hopefully will see a race.
