Transparent background to non Transparent background in blender.

Hey guys.
I was hoping to change the background on a transparent scene to have a normal background in blender.
I tried turning off the transparent option in the Render Properties panel and it does make it a non Transparent background but its just all black and I cant seem to change it.
Does anyone have a fix or tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I belive its under render properties, change the export format to .png, that should solve the problem. I'll send screenshots when I can

Thanks but I was trying to do it the other way around. I was trying to take it from a transparent to a standard background. But when i do it renders on just a black background even after making the surface a different texture.

Are you talking about the background colour in the render as in changing it from say black to white

If so got to the world properties Surface background , Color and strength.

But now the actual surface matches the background and I would like it to be a an actual floor like surface like yours.

You will need to apply a ground texture .

Dont forget to set the color texture to RGB and anything else like bump maps or height maps to a Non colour space .

So I've been trying to get the ground texture to work but no matter what I do it doesn't appear amd the ground remains the same as the background.
I tried setting up the nodes the same way you had yours set up to and it didn't really do anything.
