We're back as we hit the home stretch, and now we get a double feature of EuroFormula teams! One is perhaps the best of the rest, and the other is one of the newest and most creative teams on the grid, even if they're still waiting for results to catch up.
JWA Autosport, currently with title sponsorship from British Petroleum, is the most historic non-factory team in the series, and likely the world. Their striking liveries have been a staple of EuroFormula for years, and their success has allotted them many fans, even if they sadly won't see them competing for a world title this year. Michael Wright is their primary driver, also of British origin, and looks set to be a future star in the series, though some think it's a matter of time until another, bigger team poaches him. Alongside him is Saul Marin, another up and comer from Spain.
Koenigsegg Northstars is truly one of the most unique teams in the world, and a quite popular one despite being backmarkers. Their unique approach to branding, acting like a traditional sports team and helping their fans act like such, is sure to draw more sponsors as the team builds itself. For now though, they need a strong foundation heading into their second season. Lithuanian veteran Albert Viecas returns to be their primary driver, and joining him is rookie Diego Giordano out of Turin, Italy.
(UPDATE: Because of a duplicate number mistake, Viecas's number has been changed to #12)
