Cannot exceed 39 Ai

Hi, I am currently having problems with the number of AI cars i just can't exceed more than 39 for some reason if you have any suggestions please help!

There is one of two thing happening:

1. You don't have over 39 cars in your series folder.
2. The track doesn't allow more than 39 starters.

Take a look at the track, and your series folder, and report back.

You may actually have more than 39 cars in the folder but some may share the same number thus they wouldn't be able to run

Or you only have 39 active cars/drivers.

Well, don't make us hold our breath, tell us what the problem was, so others can learn.

You simply have to take a look at the track ini then search for max starters and change it to 43 or to what value you want.

The problem I always had was there was never enough drivers active on the drivers list.

Some tracks only allow certain number of drivers. It is called "Max Starters" in the Track.INI file. However just changing 39 to 43 as max starters will NOT fix the problem. You would need to scroll down to "Pit Stall Locations" and you need to manually figure out and input the locations for "extra" pit boxes for the "missing" drivers. Many times it is a problem as Track simply does not have enough space for extra boxes. Sometimes you can put the at the very end in an ugly way just to get the guys into the race, that is if you are not planning to have pit stops. If you are running a 20 lap short track race for example it is possible to squeeze in some guys at Bristol after the end of pit row.
