Couple of questions about this (you don't have to answer in a list, however you feel is sufficient)
1. Which do you like better 2 mile or short track configuration
2. Which track do you think will provide better racing
3. How would changing (or not changing) the configuration of Auto Club speedway affect the sport as it runs today
4. General thoughts, I'm intrigued to hear what you guys have to say.
My answers:
1. 2 mile oval
2. Short Track (Always a good time)
3. I think that if NASCAR decides to change it it will be a massive undertaking and in result we might not see racing at auto club in 2024 or 2025, which could be at massive detriment to the audience in that particular area as the regulars to the track wouldn't be able to go for those year/years that the track was closed. In other words, short term failure for a hopeful long term success.
4. I always loved the racing at the 2 mile track and sure a short track on the west coast would be great. But considering the fact that the surface of the track is getting older, the racing and strategies might get more interesting as time passes.
