So I tried making a render scene from the stock BR15 one that I could use to render a whole team of cars. I copied the cars and positioned them, and then copied all of the materials multiple times so each car could have their corresponding schemes. The first issue I ran into is that when I apply the cloned materials to the cloned cars I get this.
It applies to absolutely everything on the car. I've found a workaround by opening the group of the car and then assigning the material to the specific parts I want the material on, but I'd like to know if there's an easier, cleaner, more proper way of doing it. Secondly, when I do this, I get another problem which is holes in the hood where the flaps should be.
I saw the other render issue thread posted here March of 2019, but my texture was already bmp and I could not find any other geometry that might be messing it up either. Help is appreciated, because I'd really like to get this scene working.
