This may happen in 2024 or 2025... You may have to pay to watch a NASCAR race, Qualifying, Practice, Truck race or Xfinity race.

I'm telling NASCAR now that I will NOT pay more to watch anything NASCAR.... I pay enough now for cable and internet now, I'm NOT paying anymore for different TV or streaming services. So Would You or Will You pay to watch NASCAR ?

Maybe, but it would need to offer me a lot, like the opportunity to see old races that I cannot see elsewhere, exclusive content that did not typically come with live TV, etc.

There is a lot of rumor going around about what this streaming service may entail. Currently, most racing series around the world have a streaming service already. In those cases, live tv is still available in certain parts of the world, but the streaming is available for those who cannot watch on TV for whatever reason, or they are unable to watch the races live for whatever reason. I suspect something similar will happen with NASCAR. Frankly, NASCAR is missing out on a lot of revenue by not having a streaming service already. The downside is that often times international markets that have a lower interest are often dropped from live TV and those fans are forced to watch only through a streaming service when they did not need to before.

personally i would prefer to watch nascar free but if theyre going to make it pay to watch for every race i feel like im better off watching from the stands, but i am sure that wont happen unless i end up working for NASCAR or something

I think they should have streaming service for International Audience. For example superview from supercars YouTube. it's cheap for $3 for a month. F1TV is also good bargain $80 a year. Also have motorsport tv for $50 a year ( just for supergt race for me ). As long it's not over $100 a year I am all in.

AU$59.95 (Not available within Australia or New Zealand.)

In Australia through Kayo that's A$25/mth or A$300/yr
In New Zealand through Sky Go that's NZ$31.99/mth or NZ$383.88/yr

NASCAR has probably seen the success of Supercars in Australia and wants some of that sweet sweet pie...
...which dumped audiences to back before 1985 levels and slashed fields to a size not seen since 1988.

Yeah that's funny things about regional racing series, they charged hefty domestic audience but cheap and sometimes free for international audience. Remembering supergt and dtm Livestream is free on YouTube some years ago. There's still many free Livestream regional racing like stock car brazil, whelen euroseries, most of IMSA via radio lemans, and also most of endurance racing + sro gt racing.
If I am in USA I don't want pay that ( NASCAR paid streaming service ) but I am not in USA ( insert take my money meme here ).

In the case of Supercars, it's on Kayo; which is a Foxtel (News Corp) company.

Well if AU$59.95 a year not cheap then the only cheap is free.
