Working on the 1988 Winston Cup Complete Carset...

For those of you interested, here is small sample of my progress on the 1988 carset ... The entire carset will be done with 2048x2048 hi-res, thanks to the templates from Dr. Noise, CC#48, & LastLap. I am working through the set by make; at this point the Buicks & Pontiacs are done, and I'm currently working on the Fords...

Beautiful work!!! Looks great!!! Just of note: the rear bumper (tv panel) of Sauter's #89 had the OMC Cobra logo, not the Evinrude logos (I only know this because its still my alltime fav scheme LOL) and I want to say the #57 & #47 WInners Circle cars of Shepherd had either Prototype Racing Engines or Fischer Racing Engines (can't remember which ones he used) on either the bottom of the hood below Winners Circle, the trunk, or possibly both. Can't wait to see them all and nice work again!

Thank you for your interest and your input. Just FYI - I am painting several versions of each car ...
I'll look into the Sauter #89. The Shepherd #57 only had the Winner's Circle (large oval), but you are correct the #47 had Fischer Engineering on the hood.

Thank you so so much for revamping all the carsets for the Aero88 mod, it was long needed for that mod, and really enjoy your work and attention to detail on all this. I'm more a fan of the old school 80s / 90s style NASCAR, and this is awesome

I am only doing cars that competed in races, so I have not done this car since he withdrew and did not compete in one of the Twin 125 Qualifier races.
