I've always had this idea (if I ever found a working mod) to have a different Esso Ultron scheme on the GT-One.

Either using the TTE scheme with a green base & gold splash/markings or the BTCC oil splash scheme. It's interesting as a brand they used different logos during the same year. (Yes that's Tim in '97 but the scheme/logos were the same in '98).

My '98 TS020 scheme (logo sizing needs work, lol. First time I put the flat in game) so far...

sPLIt templares are not fun!

Center scheme is a little off based on the location of the Toyota badge on the nose (real vs model). Also my template seam is too high.... don't think I'll change it.

Probably will. :happyblush

Main scheme is almost done.

But I'll be honest, I'm kinda using a cheat sheet. I own the Tamiya GT-One RC kit and scanned the decal sheet to use as reference.

However, there is a part of the scheme not on the RC, it's on the inside body of the rear wheel arches.

So that's the next and final part before messing with logos/sponsors.

Once the scheme is done, I plan to add a brushed metal effect to the gold parts and mess with the alpha channels to get a real chrome/reflective look within rF.

That's not a cheap model kit these days
A little costly...

I've got a mint '99 release unbuilt, lucked into another built kit shelf queen as '98 #27 and 2 bodyshell kits ('99 decal), 1 unboxed (just body & wing - so bought the parts bag for the endplates) and 1 already painted to do the decals myself one day. Plus other just decal sets etc

I was at Le Mans in '99 to watch the 24hr race. Friend of the family worked for TTE and was a crew member in '98 & '99 so a reason for much love for the car.

@Highbank this will make you laugh...

Any sim, any mod where I can replace the drivers face I will do so with mine.

Reworking Wardog's helmet template as I never completed my original design back in the day. I got into rF when many mods were available and used didn't use the default helmet.

If I was ever to become a real driver ( XD ) this was the helmet I had designed to use. Red, White & Blue. Using some style & influence of other British drivers... also the trademark 'Marlboro' stripe.

My Enduracers helmet (without sponsors):

My Enduracers SP3 helmet (wip):

The rear design (when added) was inspired by Eddie Irvine but I also use a 'KOOL' stripe when I run CARTFactor.

After showing examples of my helmets... I didn't originally think about car parts. :happyblush

Using '3DSimED3' as a quick 'CarView' so I don't have to go ingame each time to check something...
