Coming along nicely it is. A while back we bought a bunch of model railroading stuff when we visited the Nevada State Railroad Museum, right now we sadly have no place to put it. Dad used to love his model trains, and I'm hoping when we move to our new house we will have the space to set a layout up.

No.
From what I understand, N Gauge is the wee ickle 9mm scale size.

In the merry old land of Oz and in Blighty and over in the Boche, HO and OO are the main standards; thanks to Hornby, Lima, Peko and Fleishmann.

Are there different players in the N Gauge market? Who ends up making most of the incidental stuff such as outbuildings, signals and points etc.

I have to say that this layout looks simply smashing. v.nice v.lovely

N scale is 1/160 while HO is 1/87 scale , so it's about half the size. You can find about anything you want in N scale as far as buildings, tracks, trains, and scenic accents go. I buy a lot of my stuff on ebay.
