Hi,
I downloaded the 1988 Winston Cup car set for Mencs19.
I already extracted the folder containing the cars to the mencs19 series folder, I had a feeling it doesn't work that way but tried anyway.
Question is: Do I have to move each car to the CARS folder and make a new roster or can I drop the folder into the CARS folder?
Basically I need to know what to do for now and with future car sets, I also noticed when extracting cars that some of the file names end up with a space like:
CUP .CAR and I have to correct it to:
CUP.CAR so I can use the car, this also happened with copying and cutting and pasting single car downloads.
Thanks for any help.
Steve

Yes, .car files need to go in the "cars" folder for the mod. Look our for .tga files, spaces before the .car (as you mentioned), and other physics prefixes (should be .cup.car, there are cars out there that are .gns.car or .cts.car, for example).

There is (I Think) a driver list included with that set, been a while, don't recall for sure. We haven't found out why there is a space being added to some file names, really aggravating for sure.

Yes the list for them is there so no need for a new roster, I opened the masm list file in visual studio and saw that the files in the list also had the spaces.
After I post I tend to " Get Smart " and remember how to do things, I just had to extract the files in the folder instead of extracting the folder itself.
Thanks for replying.
