A very interesting issue has come to my attention, someone has been taking Xfinity and truck schemes that have been painted by myself and many others and has been ripping them and making custom diecasts with them and selling them on ebay. There are many listed on ebay right now but I'll show you guys the most obvious example below. This is Natalie Decker's 2022 #13 scheme she ran at Atlanta, this car was uploaded by TheNandos22 on Monday, on the right is the render used by TheNandos and on the left is the diecast uploaded a few days later on Friday. As I'm typing this this custom car was actually just sold on ebay for $35.00 + $4.80 Shipping. Looking at the two side by side it is quite obvious that they are identical schemes just by looking at the paint splatter effect on the side of the car. Unfortunately I don't think there's much that can be done about this but I just thought I'd make this issue known for all of you.

Yeah many many years the guy was stealing schemes as well. Only way to stop them is closed content to only trusted sources really. Whether they are a user on Stunod or get the download links to the car files on another site thats where they rip them and convert them to diecasts.

Heck, we should reach out to the guy and offer to let him use our schemes (ones we painted individually) in exchange for a free diecast of them...lol

But yeah, that's kind of low ball/bush league.

Yep this has been going on for many many years. Heck, just search for custom nascar diecasts on youtube and there's all sorts of videos with "tutorials" on how to print out the 2k3 car flats and cut them up and use them for diecasts. There's even some A-hole who posts videos highlighting "skin-packs" that are 100% stolen from the rest of us painters and combined into downloads straight from youtube. These people don't care. There's also people ripping the models from the game and 3d printing them for model kits. And most don't get the mod maker's permission to use it.

Can officially join the "Pattos Place is using my work" club. Have found 3 so far, still hunting for more. I know they specifically are mine due to the white 47 having the special "Humboldt Broncos" name bars on the back windshield, something I added as an extra for the 2018 NPS Set as they ran this in Saskatoon that season.

Anyone ever send a DMCA to his registrar? According to WhoIs, his domain is registered with enomdomains.com. Their abuse policy is here, https://cp.enom.com/help/abusepolicy.aspx#fragment-3 I can't find anything on his hosting which is leading me to believe he may have his own server hardware. The only way to take him down is to hit his domain and his PayPal account if anyone that has had work stolen from him wants to step up.
