I found this interesting on Ty Dillon's Road Course Car vs his Speedway Car. The grills are different and the exhaust pipes are in different locations.

No.
Question:
Are the speedway pipes further back to make use of some kind of blown flap effect, aka the Coanda Effect?

Are the road course pipes further forwards because the pipes are tuned length and they want a turbo effect by having one exhaust charge draw out the next one?

From reading the testing news, the exhaust changes are not Road Course vs Speedway, but trying to deal with the cockpit temperature getting excessively hot. I wouldn't be suprised if the circle grills are for extra brake cooling, as NASCAR road race cars have had extra cooling ducts on Short Tracks and Road Courses since at least the 90's, though they are still making pretty significant changes to the car and the package, so anything is possible at this point.

After reading beginning thread - this is not where I thought this was going. When I saw Road course vs Speedway I was thinking of what type of racing do you prefer... But since I said it, I'll start...

I prefer Speedway racing to road courses. I enjoy an occasional road course race, but I would rather watch a Speedway race.
