Working with a custom decal supplier to have these printed up for a project :winkytongue:

Sam is supplying the Dupont logos and contigs from his library and will be producing the sheet through his company 3AmigosDecals. The Supes graphic is my own - retraced, colored and shaded based on diecast box art.

Still testing my options on the paint. The Testors Color Shift brand is readily available and looks good - but the color isn't quite what I want it to be. Waiting on some Chameleon paint samples to arrive from Green Stuff World!

Received a delivery of special paint colors from Spain today!
This color wins out over the other 4 for use in my upcoming project

Wow, that detail is epic!
Thank you! This was definitely the most detailed one I've personally ever done. I tried a bunch of things for the first time - like cutting out the stock plastic window net and making my own from strips of painters tape, adding in the ignition module and lines, additions to the seat and leg protection, a different rear shelf than the kit came with to more closely match the cars of the period.....

If anyone is interested - it has been a banner last year for me. I combined my two hobbies (sim racing design and model kits) and turned out 3 plastic model NASCARs that included decals designed entirely by myself.

I received a lot of great input from folks already producing their own waterslide decals and had a ton of fun learning the process. Seeing the design go from Photoshop, to printer to finished car was really something!

Towards the end of December, I was asked by the proprietor of Print It Decals (who had been printing my final decals files for me) if I would be interested in offering some of my work for sale for others to enjoy as well. I was actually a little shocked (I have this weird thing about not feeling like a lot of work is fit for public consumption even though it is...) but after some thought I decided to give it a shot!

My 'store' has been live since February 1st so if you want to go and check out my current wares please do! I have a lot planned for the coming year!

I just recently found this thread, guess I just didn't think about modelers on here. My son, @Trae00, and myself have built a few models, but it's been many years since we really were serious about it. Here is a couple of pics of some of Trae's stuff from about 30 years ago. The "old timers" that are Nascar fans may really get a kick out of these.

I apologize for the poor photo quality....but these are scans from pics taken WAY before digital camera or phones!
