Hey guys,
I have been sorting through my collection of NR2003 mods, car sets and tracks and I came across the NRE Physics mods. The ones I had were pretty old, but their web site is still up and running so I updated and I have been trying out some of the Physics mods. From what I understand, one use CTS physics, another uses CTS physics with increased horsepower, another uses CUP physics and another is called NR Remastered (not sure what that enhances.....graphics I think?). Anyway, I have been using the MNMCS19 that modifies the CTS physics and the few races I have tried with the Gen6 mod it is quite impressive. They provide a replacement fast setup and the racing seems good and competitive.

The web site has been inactive for some time but they do provide some details of what the mods are doing. Has anyone else had any experience with these mods? Is anyone able to provide any extra detail as what the mods are providing? I have tried running Cup mods in the CTS physics mod and the handling is a bit messed up.

Any information will be welcome.

We’re working on many projects at the moment. Just a little hold up on the Fanatec equipment due to shortages… also gotta make sure the physics are perfect!

Good to hear from someone who is involved in the project. I have been using the CTS physics and like the feel of the NGTS19X. It just seems to fit my driving style and provides some really good racing. The short track version also seems to work well with some of the Late Model mods.. I also use the Remastered NR2K3Re with the Cup physics.

I haven't tried any of the newer versions as yet. In your opinion which of the newest iterations works best with the CTS physics? I seem to struggle a bit with Cup physics, the lower grip and more HP make for a longer learning curve for a track or mod. What I'm still looking for is an improved grip for Cup physics?

All of the NASCAR18 and NASCAR19 EXEs ONLY utilize the CTS physics due to the frontal area / fuel bug in the Cup and GNS, a value in the EXE that controls two components of the simulated car. However, our future EXEs will utilize the physics types of the mods they are intended for.

Speaking of those future exe's, where did your site get moved to? I managed to get your old site up on the wayback machine but none of the download links worked.
