As of this week, my NR2003 refuses to work when using the "Accelerate" button during races. The game loads up fine, the track loads up fine, and then when I press accelerate to get to the start sequence, the entire game freezes, and will not unfreeze until the game itself kicks off accelerate when the race ends.

So far i have tried:
- Restarting my computer
- Reinstalling NR2003 completely
- Reinstalling my graphics drivers completely
- Disabling DEP
- Disabling XMP
- Changing in-game graphics settings
- Changing core.ini and rend.dxg settings

Nothing is working. I just want to play the game, but that has become impossible, and Im wondering if anybody has had this issue before and knows how to fix it. Thanks.

I've had the same problem in the past, but have no idea how I fixed it. have you unplugged any input devices? I know I've had issues with stuttering/freezing when attaching a controller/wheel device and unplugging it, but that doesn't always occur in and of itself.

Ahh, the joys of playing with old software
