No TPTCC .dat file for cars

Just installed the TPTCC ver. 2.4 mod. When I went to it, none of the cars showed up in Player info or Opponent Info.
Looked in the series/tptcc2 folder, there is no .dat file for the cars. How do I get one? Thanks for any info.

There is a 2.4 patch as well. I forgot what it's suppose to do. It might be included in the above rar file.

Hey, know it's late now, put the .dat file in, the cars showed up great! But when I started the game, tried testing mode, single race mode, it crashed to desktop. Couldn't figure out why. Any suggestions?

I did the same thing a few weeks ago. Didn't get around to asking, glad you did.
I'm going to download the dat and see what happens. Using windows 11.

Yea it is crashing like @leroycraft said, did compatibility and turned off 3d audio just to test still crashing, I can't get the 2.4 Patch from the link.

Attached the patch file. Again, I can't remember what it fixes but I added the patch when I installed the TPTCC ver. 2.4 mod.

For some reason this file is coming up as a severe trojan threat and I can't open it.
Found a Solution:
I first verified that the link was clean with an online site.
I got the patch installer to run by excluding 7z as a file type in windows defender.
As with the original installer for the mod it hung on registering fonts, I then just closed the installer for the mod and I also just did it for the patch installer.
I now have to check and see if the crash is still there.

The file is not a trojan threat. I have it on my laptop with no issues. I don't use Windows Defender for that reason.

I just had to exclude the 7z ext in defender.
Do you recall having a problem with the installer hanging on "Registering Fonts"

What might work is just a folder to put in the series folder bypassing the installer. Is your tptcc2 working with the nr2003 no cd install?

Yes no CD install. I have five NR2003 Installed. GTP Redline, CUP/Xfinity/Trucks, OWR, Whelen and TPTCC. I find it earlier to separate MODS.
