Why so much hype about this NCS mod? What makes it better than MENCS19? Is there any videos of it being used? Has it been released?

there have been live streams featuring the mod by its creators. The JoeTowNetwork as always did an amazing job covering the broadcasts.

The hype is because it's something fresh for the game.
New season with next gen cars we can drive and own along with the irl counterparts.
Keeps the game up to date, more for us to paint, etc.

No mods should ever be compared, each are amazing in their own right.

Shortly it will be released to the world.

Everytime someone ask a question about this "NEW" mod, the answer usually is "will be released shortly". Shortly lately seems to be an overused word.

You have to keep in mind that a mod is not easy to create, it takes time. Including that the creator has a life and cannot be 24/7 busy in the mod.
Yeah I don't think many truly understand the scope, skill, and determination a mod requires. While its fine for someone to ask 'when X is coming' its a pretty pointless answer though becasue with a mod its always being worked on day in and day out behind the scenes, the 99% of the mod development you never will see and is never talked about. Its ultra tedious, daunting, and sometimes you have self-doubt you'll ever see the finish line on your creation unless you stay vigilant. This is coming from someone who's been through the process a few times now and just finished another mod. Which brings up the next part, when when your 'mod' is done you still gotta do a carset for weeks on end (even if you have a team (I don't), collaboration and coordination is hard and a skill), make presentable files like templates users can use, and then present it with documentation, a trailer, and proper uploaded files. Do all this while most likely having other hobbies, a full time job/school, relationship/family. A NR2003 is literally a car that papyrus with a whole professional team used to make for the Nascar racing games, you are essentially taking on the whole burden of a game studio when you do a project like this.

I don't know why so many are so anxious about NCS2022 mod, its amazing its being made in the first place and that should be good enough for anyone. Even if the mod got canned at the last second it doesn't really matter, anyone that has gone through the mod process (even if they didn't finish) has my respect for at least experiencing what its like. I implore anyone that asks "where is it" to open blender and see if you can start by modeling a car. If you already are lost by that point it doesn't get easier with all the other million steps you must take to get a working NR2003 mod let alone an 'acceptable' one the community won't condemn you for or forget about it 2 weeks after you release it becasue someone made a 'better' version and your work is 'crap'.

I am not disrespecting anything. I understand the huge undertaking this is. My question is what makes it better? I watched the video provided and it did look any different from MENCS19. What makes it better? That is the question.

No mod is really better than another if you break it down truly. Every mod is essentially the cube mod at the end of the day. The actual game physics are not altered from mod to mod. Its all literally cosmetic and maybe a few different camera angles edited but fundamentally every mod is just a visual shell riding on top of the same cup, gns, cts, or pta physics. Eye candy is a very powerful thing people don't give credit for that alters your mental perception of how something works, makes it feel better, or even can manipulate your decision making. This can be anything from water dyed a certain color and you 'think' it tastes better, to looking at a beautiful person, and even a car and location of decals/scheme. None of that stuff actually physically 'effects' anything but we are wired to not just take into consideration physical properties but also how a thing looks too. Its like why we don't just download NR2003 tracks with no trackside objects like NR2003 Daytona with just the track surface. Technically it should be good enough right? But its not, we need those grandtands, infield objects, and buildings in the distance or the track doesn't 'feel' like its working (even though phycailly it is) and you can race the same way with them or not.

NCS2022 isn't better or worse than 2019 one, the main 'difference' is NCS2022 mod represents 2022 Nascar season racing car design with the same model style and shape and people want that. Just like COT mod represented the COT era, and BR12 represented the end of the COT era, all the same mod physics but just made to look different.
