What Cup driver was made to run 'Rookie' stripes in a Busch race they attended?


I can't remember the driver or race or year. (I know it was '00+)

But I remember the coverage/commentary mentioned that due to them being a new driver in the series, per NASCAR rules that had to run the stripes.

I'm sure this has happened many times over the years...

Kyle Petty had to run stripes on the 45 when he started driving it in 2000 after Adam's accident at a track or two. It was because he hadn't raced at that track before so he had to run the rookie stripes.

Thank you @Petty4345 might not be the one I'm thinking of, but totally forgot about the 'new' track rule for Cup drivers if was Busch standalone.
