I've made a few mods for Nascar Heat 5, hopefully a patch comes out soon to fix some of the bigger issues with the game.

All of the mods can be downloaded here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1foZHLU_-uXHz2igncXvcCRLeobSzASjP9RvhpJCToo8/edit#gid=0

Would love to see more mods/font's/schemes for heat 5. Do you know if it's possible to change the scheme of the player in career mode? Any chance you can do a tutorial on adding number fon'ts, logos or schemes?

I think they're releasing a patch soon, so we'll see what that changes. Very easy to change the paint scheme for career mode, no clue why they don't let you do it in the game.
I've been playing with the UABE program. Have figured out how to export/import paint schemes for built in drivers. But never was able to locate the scheme for the career cars.

Think I've found the number fonts but haven't messed with those yet.

Any chance you can tell me how to do the Career players paint scheme? And mod in one made outside of the game? Like for example if I'm driving the #14 of Clint Boyer, can I just mod overtop of his schemes to make it work for career? Or does the career driver have a seperate file located somewhere?

The career paint scheme is a layered paint similar to the ones available in the car customizer, but there is only one of them. It could be replaced with one of the other existing custom paint scheme template, but I don't think you would be able to use a full existing paint scheme like Clint Bowyer's car. The template is a red green and blue template that is meant to allow the user to change colors on.

At most you could swap it with one of the other designs.

I figured out tonight that if you are driving say Joe Nemecheks #87 Truck in career and you change the paint job for his truck (ie add a sponsor or out name above the door) it automatically copies over to your career scheme. Which was the #1 thing I was looking for.

Has anyone found where the team logos are, specifically for the Dirt series? I noticed that one of the Dirt Series teams coincidentally have the same name as a team in my offline league and was hoping to use that team's logo.

Maybe there is an answer elsewhere here, but is there a patch or a way to force the game to always boot at a certain resolution. My copy no matter what happens will revert to a pitifully small resolution of 768x1024 and no matter times times I try and save even as it saves everything else, whenever go back to replay the game, in between sessions it never saves my preferred resolution settings of 1920x1080 and reverts back to 768x1024. It only works when you're playing the session, but it never keeps those settings
