I attempted to render this at TMS but for some reason it looks very cloudy and unlike the file. Any render you are able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much for consideration!

You joined March 29th, 2020, and this is your first post in over a year and a half, why is that? Then to ask for a render after you didn't get what you liked from TMS, this is just plain wrong.

Thanks so much for the render, it looks awesome! Although, I am disappointed in your reply. As you noted, this is my first request of any kind since joining a year and a half ago because I do not abuse the system and try to figure things out before bothering others or taking advantage of their good will if it is something I can work to do myself. I honestly was not aware until last night of the render request in this forum, and have exclusively used TMS render machine up to this point with excellent results. Unfortunately I am not knowledgeable enough to figure out why my image continued to appear “foggy” with TMS render this time around despite a lot of time spent researching trying to teach myself why. In my request I shared that in case it was indeed something wrong on my end and to avoid making extra work for anyone who was willing to make the render for me if it was something that needed a tweak.

I am sorry you took my lack of posting or mention of my attempt at TMS negatively, but I am very appreciative of your efforts.

Thanks again!

You need to look at this from our point of view, having active members is what keeps a site exciting and growing, just think if 95% of the members never said a thing, nor posted anything how dead and boring this place would be. As far as the render goes, I take it personally to be asked for a render after the so called great TMS doesn't deliver what you want. That is a Nascar Heat site, always will be, and N2K3 renders is just a side show to lure people over to the Heat side.
As for your statement "I am disappointed in your reply", I pretty must have the same saying for anyone whose first forum post is asking for something, go thru some of the other forums and you'll see my reactions to them are along the same line as my reply to you.

These look so awesome. Thanks again for the great renders!

Garrett - I totally understand your point regarding the forum and wanting to see more interaction. I was brand new to the game last year when I registered and really used the forum as a source of info and teachings. Through the forum I searched out the questions I had that had already been answered on here and applied them. It certainly was not for a lack of wanting to be involved or being ungrateful, but more so not to be a typical “newbie” burdening those who have answered the same questions probably dozens of times from ppl unwilling to put the time in to find the answers. I am grateful to you and the community here for being pretty much the go-to source for ppl like me who didn’t know anything about this a year ago. Regarding TMS, I certainly was not trying to be insulting about the good things they’ve done. I was just giving credit where due, as I would with anyone. These renders done here on this car blow anything I’ve ever seen at TMS out of the water, and like I said before, I didn’t even know rendering on here was an option. I’ll definitely spend more time poking around and trying to get more involved in areas that I think I can.

I am very grateful for the renders and the time put in on this site in general. It’s an amazing Nr2003 source! Sorry for the bumpy start!!

That's a fine statement, wish a lot more people would think that way as well. We all, (staff members) will help anyone who shows that they've tried to find, or paint or render, it would be dumb for us not to. When you see someone ask a question that has been asked several time before, it tells that they didn't want to spend the time looking around, not just this site, but every site that is still open, we get those every single day, We're glad your a member, and wish you all the best, just be a little more active is all we ask.
Paul does some terrific renders, his are different than what I have, which is a good thing, I could do some from the scenes he has given me, but then he'd have nothing to do. Gotta keep him busy you know. As of now, we have 7 guys that are render partners, some more active than others doing renders.
