Always want to make regular backups of the ptf file in a separate file location so you can fall back to latest known good. I rarely if ever get corrupted saves in sandbox these days but it does and can happen when you least expect it.

Also a little hard to tell but don't forget with the fencing to make the texture not stretched and add the curve to it. I notice a lot of track makers forget this and the fence is just a big blurry texture wall lol

you just have to edit the horizontal and vertical settings for the mip. It will be different for every mip depending on its size but for example on Daytona SDT the fence texture W Section Properties window would look like this:

The 'override default tex parameters' area allows you to custom set the horizontal and vertical lengths of a texture to reduce it stretching.

(also you can open tracks that use the same textures as yours if they are shared textures to get the same settings)

Good start, just some tips:

For the wall it looks like their orientation is set to vertical. This means even in the corners they will be straight up and not follow the rotation banking of the track. This can cause unintended consequences when you or an AI hits the wall causing bad wrecks as the wall is not following the same banking degree of the track surface. Essentially set to vertical acts like a ramp instead lol. To fix this set all your walls and fences to perpendicular orientation. You'll see right away in the sandbox preview mod the wall now bank with the turns looking more natural like track do in real life with walls. Simply select the wall sections and change them to perpendicular, option is in the W Section Properties window:

Also for walls, not sure if your track will be a modern one but you can add in softwall safer barrier real easy. It is just an extra W section you place in the front of the wall and set it to Amco Right or Left. This will act as a safer barrier and not damage the car as badly as the concrete walls would. You can reference other tracks that have softwalls to see how the top and side textures are placed. As for the wall and softwall height/width I've found the sweet spot that I personally like is these settings:

Walls:

Softwalls:

End result with my custom textures applied:

Looks like going into one of the corners is a bad bump, will need to smooth that out with the banking levels.

ive decided to cancel this project for now

- There are to many superspeedways and there isnt a need for this one
- This is basically Daytona but 2x bigger

I have to disagree, I will literally race on any and all tracks for my series (if its paved and actually works). Can never have too many superspeedways or any track type in my opinion lol :)

(not to say you shouldn't cancel it)
