This happens. I've tried downloading older blender versions and other stuff and it has happened every single time. I even did the turn off and on again thing. Are there any other solutions

There's many reasons for this. For me my Nvidia gpu was the problem. It's still crash sometimes but after adding TdrDelay it's run little longer before crash.

So basically my computer being worn out and trash is a possible problem (not saying yours is)

Well my potato laptop is old and always used for 3D CAD , it will 10 years old this fall so yes it's worn out. In my case Blender never crashing before I resetting my GPU driver last year. And crash only occur when I try modeling. If just changing material or importing model never have that problem. I also don't have problem with James Hodge blender scene ( my showroom use that scene now ). Try specific the problem it's just for that scene or any other blender scene and what your computer specs will help. Hope there's fix for you.

I run window 7 on a 10 year old computer, with a GTX680 vid card, I have no problem running blender, 3ds max, photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, gimp or any other thing I want to run. I found that Windows 7 will not run blender version higher than 2.83. it'll tell you when trying to install a later version that win 7 isn't supported.

Good to know. I'll try and see. If the problem persists I'm not sure what I'm gonna gonna do

Update: 3 further back download versions later and I still can't get it to gun. Now im just going to save up for a better laptop and hope the problems end once I get the new one.

Note: I am not blaming Mr. Hodge for this problem. I'm blaming the fact that I didn't update my tech sooner to avoid this. Hopefully I can be rendering myself before September/October all things considered
