Is it possible to adjust the ride height on just a single mod?

I have read about the ride height fix posted here but I'm not sure if that's exactly what I'm looking for. I have the Cup98 mod with CTS physics and the cars sit too high. I have other mods with the CTS physics and they look like they're at the right height. Will doing a whole game fix lower the other cars even more? I have also read about changing the fast setup in for the track, but again, wouldn't this cause wholesale changes to all the mods running the same physics?

Only 'ride height fix' I know are for mods using PTA physics.

IIRC the ride height is set in the mod 3do's of the models used.

Never heard of this. But from what I know, it wouldn't make a difference.

I appreciate you replying to this. I can live with it but it would be nice to get them lower but it is what it is. Thanks!

Ride height is a visual thing. It changes nothing for a mod based on handling or speed. You could have them floating 6 feet off the ground and they would still run the same.

Sitting still I don't see any change but at speed it's satisfyingly lower, thank you! Image1.jpg

It was driving me crazy having them look like a dirt car lol. It's my OCD I reckon.

I was the same with with one of the older Indycar mods.. Without a ride height fix they looked the body was almost 1 foot above the pavement..
92-96ish is my favorite era of racing. I used to like painting the dirt cars but fell out of the sim for a while but I have really gotten back into things with the older mods. I'm glad to still find help here!

If you park your player car in a different pit so the pit crew doesn't come out and you go by it in the replay in one of the AI cars you will see that your player car is just fine and not sitting up. I think also in probably any mod the front splitter or air dam sinks into the track and on the AI they don't if I remember correctly. I do see that they sit down in the corners and stand up on the straights at least while I tried it at darlington.

I will have to check that out and see. I'm also thinking that with my car the tires will come up out of the front fenders in the corners. Two things to check the next time I race!

Yes the tires coming through the fenders also happens in I believe the Aero 88 mod or the 89-94 mod. One of them anyway.
