After a lot of thought and conversations within the community, we’re happy to announce that Stunod Racing will not be shutting down. The incredible support we’ve seen from all of you has played a huge role in this decision, and we’re truly grateful to everyone who values and contributes to what makes this community so special.
We’ve been exploring ways to manage the costs of keeping Stunod Racing up and running, as the current expenses felt unsustainable. We considered moving conversations to Discord or creating a standalone site for file hosting, but those options didn’t really fit what most of the community wants or the experience we aim to provide.
Here’s the plan moving forward: Stunod Racing will remain open, but we’ll be making some changes to how files are hosted. There will be a few upfront costs during this transition, but these updates will help reduce our expenses over time and make things more manageable in the long run. We’ve been working with a few members and programmers to figure out the best solutions, and while there are still some details to iron out, we’re confident we’re heading in the right direction.
Thank you for sticking with us and being patient as we work through these changes. With your support, we’ll ensure Stunod Racing continues to be a place for creativity, collaboration, and connection in the racing community.
Stay tuned—we’ll share more updates soon!
If there's more to add to the template, it might be a good idea to release a separate template with just the new parts, so we can paint that and plug it in on top of already finished paint schemes, I don't know how easy it would be to do that but something to think aboutThank you everyone for the overwhelming positive support on the mod. I am glad to hear the months of day in and out work has paid off and many are enjoying racing with it. Post-launch content is still on the way in the future days. I am also happy to announce version 1.1 update will be coming to the mod. There have been no critical issues with 1.0 but there are a few minor fixes, improvements, and additions I wanted to make to complete my vision of the mod to make it be in its best state I can make it. There is no definitive date for 1.1 but I don't suspect it will be too far off as progress on 1.1 is already going smoothly. Release notes when 1.1 drops will give full details on everything new with it.
I do want to state 1.1 won't be some massive overhaul or revolutionary changes so any templates you paint on or schemes you make will still work on 1.1, there may be some new paintable pieces to add to the templates but without them the mod would still work fine with any previously painted schemes that have not received the update (but it will be highly recommended to update them for the best experience with the mod of course).

I love the mod its amazing, but I cant use it.. I normally get 140 FPS but with the mod I only get 8! its crazy. not sure what to do besides upgrade my videocard
OH!! Ok appreciate your time! Thank youMake sure to read the readme that comes with the mod and add the dx9 dll and 4gb patch. You may need to turn off some graphical settings as well if you are on an older pc.
I can't even get the DDI bits to show up properly in the opponent viewer/driver selection. What do you need to make it work?
I actually did both of those things. What I didn't do was remember to change my profile to the one I actually changed the ini line on. Oops. Ah well, all is good now.I highly recommend reading the readme file that comes with the mod. I also have an overview video as well. The answer you seek is in there, reason why its always a good idea to read the readme that comes with a mod first![]()

OK, thank you for the answer, that is what I needed to know. The Petty car was done on the old template, that's why you get the blank blue spots. You have the new version1.1 installed.
