So, I was ready to order one, then I had more questions.. lol

When you sim race (while on Teamspeak/Discord) do you just use the headset speakers or regular speakers? I like my speakers/subwoofer so I dunno if I want a headset that has speakers + mic, or just the mic? A headset with small ear cups or something, that still allows you hear the racing sound (from the speakers) would be cool.. I think you can pick the "output" on those chat programs so you could have crystal clear chat in your headset, game sounds from speakers.. If that's a no go, I guess I'll just get a "mic only" headset that leaves the ears exposed.

Here's my take on this, if you use your speakers during an online race, your mic picks this up and is disconserting to the other players, as it comes over as a reverb type sound. I would say to just use the headphones for game sound while online racing. You'll want to turn your game sounds down in order to hear the other people.

I second all of this.
