Finally, this project is completed. 4 years and I'm ready to start gathering the needed screenshots for the download page but man, it's great to be done with this carset.

Quick note: I don't know what happened with the 2005 Dodge Body in the Blender Render, I'll have to figure it out but that's the end result of mapping out the needed textures.

Took a bit of a break after finishing the 2005 TTC carset, and I'm now back on the Next Gen grind with a couple of 1997-centric Valvoline schemes. First off, here's the #6 of Mark Martin, which he drove at the 1997 Suzuka Thunder Special event.

The 2nd of these Valvoline '97 Special schemes and it's a throwback to the Valvoline Special scheme. Is it lazy from a painter sense? yeah. Did I chose Chase because the classic 6 turned upside down turns into a 9? Yeah. Does the car look good? Yeah.

Last Valvoline ride for the pack. This time, it's based on the Lamborghini Diablo GT1 that was driven in the 1997 JGTC GT500 Championship. Just gotta complete some pit crews and I should be able to upload the schemes proper.

As I hinted in my update to the Kulwicki Tribute logo, I'm officially working on a Definitive Edition to my Winston '02 carset. It's a hefty one so lemme break it down for ya

- All schemes will be updated with proper namerail decals and 2020-era contingencies
- 12 Schemes updated to Daytona 500 race day spec
- 13 New Drivers
- 16 Driver Variations, which acknowledge the various driver swaps from the 2002 season
- 26 New Alternative Paint Schemes

So here are Brett Bodine's updated #11 Hooters Ford, Hamilton's Daytona 500 scheme and Todd Bodine's Daytona 500 spec Kmart Ford.

As part of the Definitive Process, I've updated Jamie McMurray's scheme from the quick and dirty reskin of Marlin's primary to the scheme he got his 1st ever win at the Lowe's Fall Race. On the other side, Casey Atwood's base has been completely remade, alongside the addition of his Daytona 500 associates and a modified number 7, which is closer to his early-season number style rather than his late-season orange number style. Enjoy.

Couple of more cars have been upgraded to Definitive status, those being the #4 of Mike Spinner (Daytona 500 spec), and the Jasper duo of Boris Said and Dave Blaney. All 3 schemes had select logos completely remade with a brand new set of Jasper Engines text logos and a brand new Max Film logo. As well, the Jasper Motorsports base scheme got the remake treatment. Enjoy.

New batch of Definitive Edition schemes are being rolled out, those being the #12 of Newman, the #14 of Compton, the #15 of Waltrip, the #31 of Robby Gordon, the #48 of Johnson, and the #80 of Kirk Shelmerdine. Most, if not all of these have remade bases, outside of Waltrip's scheme and the slightly modified base to Compton's #14.

Speaking of Compton, his initial base from the original Winston '20 release is getting new life as it's being used for the Mike Wallace variation of the #14 Conseco Pontiac.

Been a hot minute since I've updated on the Definitive Edition project, so here's the newest scheme completed. John Andretti's #43 Cheerios Dodge, which had it's base rebuilt from the ground up, and as I continue to work on the project, I realize that I'm remaking more and more bases which'll take a lot more time to get this total project completed.

Another set of schemes that I got done after the Andretti render, so here's the Evernham Trio of Bill Elliott, Jeremy Mayfield, and one-off R&D driver Hank Parker Jr in their respective Dodges. Parker's base got completely rebuilt whilst Mayfield and Elliott's base paint jobs got darker as to match the hue used irl. As well, Robby Gordon's Alternative scheme got a face list, this time, based on his Coca-Cola 600 scheme rather than his All Star Race scheme. (Elliott has the Evernham Team Logo in-game)

Yesterday, I completed working on remaking the base of Jeff Green's #30, as to update his scheme and based it on his Daytona 500 ride, which had sponsorship from the upcoming Blade 2 movie, and then I realized I never posted the completed Rudd and Sprague Renders so here they are, all 3 under a completed package.

Before I go to bed, I think it's time to showcase an updated scheme and a brand-new, made from scratch ride as part of my efforts to update all of the drivers who attempted the Daytona 500. Brett Bodine ran this #11 Wells Fargo Ford during Speedweeks 2002, as Wells Fargo was one of his sponsors during the 2001 season. This is the middle ground between Ralph's/Kroger sponsoring Bodine and Hooters jumping on board for a part-time schedule. As well, the Aaron's Dream Machine got an update featuring new associates scattered around the Herminator-driven Chevrolet. Enjoy.

Decided to grind out the #44 Petty Enterprises, as that ride has two driver variations. The 1st being Buckshot Jones, which should've been included in the original release as he attempted the 2002 Daytona 500, but got replaced with Grissom thanks to that pesky Crown Fiber logo that I wasn't able to find at the time. I remade it a couple of minutes ago lmao. The 2nd driver variation is Jerry Nadeau, which covers the period where Nemechek took over his old spot at Hendrick Motorsports. As well, Grissom got his own overhaul so all 3 versions of the car look as close as to their real-life equivalents.

Back to working on separate paint schemes, we got the #23 of Hills Bors boy Hut Stricklin and the #99 of Jeff Burton. Stricklin's was a simple update to the base color alongside overhauling the B-Pillar and Hills Bros logos, replacing the ones from the PC NASCAR Thunder games with SVGs and made from scratch logos. Jeff Burton, on the other hand, had its base completely reconstructed.
