FCR NCS22 Issues (Need help!)

I've had the mod downloaded for a while, but just got around to playing it a bit tonight.

The game is laggy, and crashes to desktop when I run the mod. Does it pretty quickly.

When I load the game and pick a different mod (MENCS 19) it runs just fine. No issues.

I checked the car sizes in the new mod just to make sure the files weren't too big, and that's not the issue.

But if I try to run more than 6 or 7 cars it just crashes. This one is a new one to me.

Thoughts?

Windows 10. PC strength isn't an issue.
No CD Patch (although I do have the game)
4 GB Patch
All official patches

Can't figure out why the other mods run perfectly smooth and this one doesn't.

The short answer is that the actual wire frame contains a lot more nodes that have to be generated.
You could resize all of the skins to 1024x1024 or turn off things like solar flare, shadows and other things,

Sadly this is the curse of Intel Cinnabon and Potato-86 machines. I find that the ICR mod also chews up more processing power than is sensible.

I had a roster file that must've been corrupt that was doing the same to me, I deleted it and made a new one and it was fine. You can't tell by looking at it. Something to try.

If you don't have the 4GB patch installed, try using that and the v1 fix if you don't have that already as well.

A few things that should help:

v1 version of the mod (found here at Stunod)
4GB patch
Make sure your graphics settings are as shown:
