Hello Everyone, i wanna make this question because some of the carsets are awesome and this would help some racers undecided you try some awesome carsets of the game, in my opinion my favorite is 2007 for nostalgic reasons, but i really like to try the 2001 Busch Series Carset for the GNS Mod and the 1999 Winston Cup carset for the WinstonCup98 mod

My favorite would be the vintage Dirt55 cars that I painted. They are all cars that I grew up watching at local tracks here in the 1960s and 70s.

SpiderTre
98 & 99 cup sets for Cup98
2003-05 sets for SnG 03-05

now that the painting bias is out of the way...

2001 Busch Series set for PWF GNS
2012 K&N West Series for PWF GNS (ran this set a lot with my personal paint)
EPD's full 2011 truck set for CTS09
TRG's full 2004 cup set for original cup
Masgrafx 2001-03 sets for original cup (nostalgia)

clearly i can't pick just one

I felt I should add on to my preference

I like creativity. I often despise real world paints for the simple reason, that any one and everyone does them. Granted, people do them cause people want the up to date rosters, so I can't complain.

But there is something about a fantasy carset on any mod, that I do enjoy.

Plus its the hunt. Hunting 2004 Fictional's on NNRacing was a few month endeavor. I went through hundreds of cars in order to make the car set I like most.

Finding cars with specific sponsors was a pain. The criteria I went by is:
-Must be a full fictional
-Must be made for a fictional driver (requested or otherwise) or have no name above the window.
-Must fit 20XX year, in terms of manufacturer
-Can not have the same Sponsor/number affiliation as real life (example: Budweiser #8, Dupont 24, etc)
-Must have correct contigs

Although I love fictional carsets, the best I've seen is actually the 2013 Cars on MENCS19 mod. I enjoy that so much just because the way the paint schemes fit on the modern cars is amazing.

I like any REAL asphalt Late Model (LMPv2) car sets. I paint these as well and know just how difficult it can be.
And You do great work Ron! I also enjoy the short track Lmpv2 mod and Aero88 sets from @JamesB and also the great Whelen sets from Ground Pounder designs and the great cars and sets from BST that Calvin and Phillip do.

Thank you, Phillip. Wish I was contributing more. School keeps me a little busy. I have a new PC which I haven't really set up to get back to painting yet. And, just getting motivated to pick up the "brushes" again. But, we have James Bancroft and BST and Jon Hannibal doing incredible work on these latest Late Models... as well as some others in the community. When Full Circle finishes their NextGen mod, I hope they will focus on the Super Late Model mod that they started.
