Dulicating a mod in-game

Hi I have a few mods that i tried duplicating in game and when i accessed the copies there is no cars and no set mod mainback just the og nr2003 background so i was wondering if this is something that can't be done or if I'm doing something wrong I know I'm probably not asking in the right category but any help is appreciated

Ensure the specific mod in the series folder you want to duplicate along with the "dat" file have the same (new) name. Then open the "series.def" file with notepad and change the "given name" to something different. I have multiple LMv2 mods used, but change the information for specific series (ACT, PASS, GSPSS, etc.) so I can have series specific carsets for the late models.

You can also change with "mainback.stp" to get different images. You just need WinMip 2 and a photo editing program.
