Does anyone know how to copy and paste one side of a car onto the other when working on templates?

Does anyone know how to copy and paste one side of a car onto the other when working on templates? I've spent a large amount of time on a ca and I'd hate to have to manually copy the whole of one side over to the other. Is there anyway to avoid this?

Sincerely, Hendrik

Several ways to do this, here's what I do, ( but note, templates are not symmetrical side to side, so some minor adjustments will be required ) multiple layers for your design will need to be done in two ways, duplicate each layer one at a time, hide the original layer, turn on wire mesh layer, High-lite the new duplicated layer, ( I place a 10 pixel square in the bottom of that layer using the wire layer as a guide, bottom right skirt area in the corner where the wires are straight) now flip that layer vertically, then move it to the other side using the square to align it up correctly, square should be in same place in the wire layer. Do this for each layer you have a design on, time consuming I know, but if you use the pen tool to create these designs, it will keep that so you can make fine adjustments if needed.
Second way I've done this is almost the same, but I merge all the design layers together ( I use the pen tool, so I convert this one layer to a rasterized layer, then duplicate this layer, move to other side.

Well, this is gonna sound really stupid but... is there anyway that you could do a quick video tutorial? This is my very first real livery, and I'm a noob at photoshop. I am truly sorry and you don't have to make a video. I just had trouble understanding. Thanks for your time regardless.

No.
I'd hate to have to manually copy the whole of one side over to the other.

Most of the rotate/skew angles are backwards when flipped.

I feel a sense of sadness when I see numbers and sponsors that don't line up with the belt lines; because people don't rotate and skew properly. It makes the sides of cars look melty.

I can get on my discord channel tomorrow afternoon, after our AC race, somewhere between 2 and 4 pm, what time best suites you. I'll share my screen with you and do a simple scheme.
