Here is the first paint on the Monte to showcase what the finished product looks like all dressed up. And of course it is a Dale Earnhardt car. Simple to make, Inconic design that nevevr loses its luster, I can see why it gets made so many times.

I can't express how enjoyable it is to paint on your own template, that is put on your own 3d model. Definately something special about it.

If you ever run into any tricky modeling situations feel free to ask, always can help. Can always provide guidance to get your models in NR2003 if that is what you are looking to do in the future too.

Thanks for the offer, I'll remember that. I'd love to put my models in NR2003, if only it were not for the hardcoded 4 model cap, as there are too many body styles I want to include.

I've have heard some rumblings about ways to circumvent that, but I might take that up in a private chat not to clog up this thread.

have you ever had an issues with the rear ends bending towards the middle and making straight lines bend down visually on the mesh?
if so, how did you work past that?

also you’ve did one heck of a job on those models, looks amazing!

Most of my lines on the rear are fine, the only issue is the nose, as it is curved similar to the Cup98 mod, so some trickery is required there.
