Are there versions of the Cup98 templates (98 Chevy, 98 Taurus, 98 Grand Prix, 97 T-Bird) that work for PSP 7? That's the system I prefer to use.

've tried to convert them via GIMP but only 1/3 of the layers come over. When I try to open the psp versions on here I get an error in PSP 7 that it isn't a valid PSP file. If anyone has them and is willing to share them I'd appreciate it.

See if these work for you. I have no clue where I got them from or who to credit.
Edit: It looks like they are from SnG, so all credit goes to them.

You are welcome, glad to help out. I think it was the PSP7 that caught my eye, I thought I was the only one left using that old version lol.

There's more people than you think of that still use PSP7/8 to paint.

I still use PSP7 to paint myself. However, I make all my decals now with Inkscape to future proof them.

I have Gimp and Paint.net but I just cannot get the hang of a new format. PSP7 is like an old friend lol.

Oh, I hear you on that.

However, I've self taught myself Inkscape at least, since it has a way better color transition system than PSP7 ever had.

Recreating the flames for Jeff Gordon's 'flame' car wouldn't have been possible in PSP7, but Inkscape made it possible at least.

The reason that not all of the layers export over is that PSP7 has a 100 layer limit. When you export the file to a type that PSP7 can read, only 100 layers export over. In addition, PSP7 doesn't use layer groups, which can mess up layers.

In order to make it work, before exporting, you need to make sure they are all top layers, and you will need to either delete various layers, or merge some together.
