It's a really nice mod, the truck may be on the simple side, but the damage is out standing, I was just running some practice laps at 'Dega and got in a six truck pile up and it looked realistic! About time a mod maker takes the time and do the damage model right, it's been a long time.

I'm gonna get my truck done and then take them out on well Riverside Can Am of course...and then my other faves, Lime, M-O, Road America, Watkins Glen Boot....and Willow Springs is quickly becoming a top 5 for me...Sears Point, I just haven't found my pace there yet...Oh Sebring is fun...Daytona RC is good, the AI just always has it's issues...

I deleted a question asked in the sign-up thread....

"CUTCH_22" asked: Question: "Is there a specific font we should be using for these numbers? Not overly familiar with those specs."

I responded:
Usually a simple font is what you find in the roundels and plates...but you can use what ever you like, I use "IMPACT" or "Ariel Black" a lot

NUMBER PLATE POSITION UPDATE!

We may be able to fit the rear number plate on the rear spoiler, checking that out now...if it works then that move will be optional...

I'm 95% done, just need to work on a gradient layer, it's not how I want it....YET!

Warning! Lot of warpage over and around the front wheel...the flaired wheel well areas are warping my decals so beware...use the Carviewer so you know what you are getting...

Note the FRAM decal and the Bilstien, AEM, and Ford Racing decals in front of the wheel...warpy....This is a WIP render to check things out...

I also need to locate the inner wheel well areas on the template to get them all the same...not e that the front is green while the back is white...

I believe it's the area around the Bed roll bars on the template, but I'll be testing it this afternoon...

I can attest that major warpage is happening around those wheels on mine as well. Might leave them blank. Dumb question, is the Mustang front preloaded to the template or an add-on?

I might be removing the Fram decal, no matter where I put it it seems to have warp...and it seems to move too, strange things afoot at the 7-11

So I begin checking out the many templates that Brother Bill did...and he's got a Goodyear logo right in that warpy area and it works...go figure....

Here's what I ended up with...I used the Aussie ranger template of Bill's...got the gradient how I wanted it too, no worries mate!

The 14 Vitaphone/DHL Ranger is mostly done, need the crew and some touches here and there and it's good to go...

Very thank-ful for the carviewer...always nice to have when matching lines up and getting an idea how the overall presentation of the car works...

I thought we'd have more folks getting in on this...maybe folks just want to paint cup cars...what fun is that? Kidding, I get it, I just think that painting on different templates for different mods helps grow a person as a painter....which is why I do these sets...
