It'll definitely be interesting. I kinda wish they had decided to use the Gen 6 cars, though. Apparently that was originally the plan. Considering how few cars they're allowed to have, and you know they're gonna beat those cars up at that tiny track. It just seems like Daytona would have been a much better place to debut the new car.

I don't think its going to be better than Daytona, but I think its going to be good for the sport at the end of it. They're going all in on trying to rope people who've never seen a race. I mean, $10 tickets?!?! That's a ticket price hard to argue with. Its working too, seen alot of non-nascar-fan buzz on social media.

Having it in a not only a very large city but also a very non-nascar city is probably a bonus if enough people get interested. It would be pretty cool to see a lot of new fans get generated from having a race like this in LA
