I want to do a full season sim of the 2001 season throughout the next year and I wanted to get your guy's opinions on what is the best formula to use and how to use it?? I currently use SnyderArt and am currently simming 2022, and I'll select every year from 2022-2018 and take the averages of that, but my problem with that is it favors rookies and one off drivers waaaaaay too much. Like in my 2022 Xfinity sim. Trevor Bayne dominates any race he's in because he was solid IRL and only made select starts. I was thinking of only using the stats from 2001, but I don't want Jeff Gordon to dominate every race.

Sorry for the long-winded post, basically, I just wanna know what you guys think is the absolute best all around way to use NRatings and what has worked for y'all!
Thank you if you decide to respond :)

I used all of the NRatings but for me ai_line_mod v3.0 are the best in my opinion.

Where does one find the ai_line_mod v3.0 NRatings formula (or other formulas)? I've tweaked the "SnyderArt, optimized by Tjeuten" formula to come up with this and have used it to simulate a few seasons with decent results.

My favourite way to simulate past seasons is to use the entry lists for the races from that year as demonstrated in this video -

That way, AJ Foyt doesn't dominate, he just wins the races he's entered in, and Dan Gurney doesn't show up for short tracks.

Have fun! :)
