Track - Some of the wooden tracks c.1910

a Mod - early to mid '90's CART or '80s to '90s F1
a Track - Be kinda cool to have that massive 18-mile long Special Stage oval from Gran Turismo 6 (or 5 I can't remember which)
a Thing - An easier to use track building program than Sandbox or Centerline, one where you can use pre-rendered pieces and objects and change their textures on the fly as you're building the track.

Mod - I'd really like to see the Whelen Mod get updated with a couple new bodies. Ian of Smiffsden had one of them about 80% done, but real life ended up taking higher priority. If there is someone out there who loves short track racing and especially asphalt Tour-Type Modifieds, and is well versed on 3dmax... Please contact me.

Track - There are so many on my To-Do list. I'll get around to making them eventually.

Thing for NR2003 - Like the poster above (mrsir1995), I'd love to have an improved program for building tracks that is far more versatile and sophisticated than Sandbox. Working on grades and elevations in Sandbox (aka X-sections) is so difficult. Also, it would be nice to have tracks that can render object dynamic shading in accordance to their angle to the sun (or light source in night tracks) like all of the new racing sims do (aka Assetto Corsa, PCars, NACAR Heat), but I guess that would be more in the exe than a track building program. Right now, we have to do all of that shading of surfaces in Sandbox manually. Same with the 3dos. We have to shade those per their relationship to the sun when we texture them. And making a night track environment in Sandbox is literally a nightmare PITA. That's why is takes so long to make a quality track for NR2003.

I would like to see someone improve on Project Wildfire's damage update. Although their mod is much better than the Papyrus version it still is not as realistic as it could be.

A track - Any current track that transitions to night

I think that this exceeds the technical limits of the underlying graphics.

I don't know what's actually inside the program but it spits out MIP and TGA files readily. MIP are stacked but I don't think that they can be used like slow GIFs, which is what it would take, I think.

Mod - 99% of the style of cars/series are accounted for already...

Track - my home track, South Bend Motor Speedway... a FAST 1/4 mile track that holds the record of the worlds fastest 1/4 oval with a 8.793 second lap!
Opened in 1946, Track is beat up, 2-3 wide racing on a short track, and LOTS of excitement.

Thing - Double file restarts!

1 - A new truck mod. I've been thinking about trying to make one myself for 2020.
2 - A new Mid-Ohio. The FSE version isn't like the real track at all. I've thought about doing this one myself as well.
3 - A patch to allow the game to use more than one CPU core. I have a six-core processor that's barely being utilized - come on, put it to work!
