This is a very weird wish: having car ratings actually affect the player in single-player mode. I think it would be neat to do a driver/myTeam career mode with that and feel the difference between driving a Rick Ware car and a Hendrick car.
I totally agree. That is the one thing keeping me from going full in on a custom career mode.

You could probably get somewhere by loading in the worst setups imaginable for when you're a backmarker.

A higher built-in vertex limit, though I think I'm going to have to deal with that one and pound sand. :p

How about a track that looked like it was on the Virtual Boy, where everything is in red and black, including the cars and everything in the environment? ... This is actually possible, by the way.

I had that exact idea of a red and black grid type track and cars. I'd love to see that. I made my late model car with a red grid and it looks pretty awesome. The guys in my league said it's cool but they also don't like it because they can't see it very well.

Reminds me of a track made in Black and White with a carset to go with it.

What I'm talking about would be controlled by the track environment; it wouldn't matter what you brought to it, everything would be red and black. For giggles I already experimented with a skybox to make this work.

Pelican International Speedway - Prarieville Louisiana. 5/8 mile oval. 25 to 30 Degree banking. It was built with stolen concrete from Dow Chemical, Banking like old Bristol, but steeper. The demolishing company went bankrupt trying to tear it down since they had so much concrete under the banking. View: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/493144227918152875/

http://racersreunion.com/community/...racks/8446/baton-rouge-international-speedway i wonder what ever happened to this?

So kinda like this track? (screenshot from TNTMan93's "Cool NR2003 Tracks" video)

Kind of. The caution lights are still yellow (if they were dynamically lit, they would be pink or, if what I think the goal of that track was originally, black) and that track doesn't remove all green light (because pink is... well... the absence of green). More like this;

I reiterate that this is doable and now I want to make it.

I'll throw my two cents into this. There are two mods that I would like. A 1972 or 73 Cup mod. I want to drive a Roadrunner. That is one of my favorite NASCAR vehicles. The other would be a 1985 Cup mod so I can drive my second favorite car, the T-Bird from that year.

1 - 2010s Minivan stock car mod
2 - something similar to the Bernese Alps track from FM4
3 - More realistic blowover mechanics that also apply to AI cars, also some less grippy bumpers would be nice.
