Chase is the favorite going into the 2023 Cup season to be Cup Series Champion....

I say it's Kyle Busch who should be the favorite.... Any takers?

I'm going to say that Denny Hamlin will win the championship, because he is a Backpfeifengesicht and hopefully if he wins, he'll shut up forever and go away. Look Dennis, get your Dub and then go away to the shadow realm and play with all the other soot devils, please?

Well I can officially say that my Hot Take wasn't so hot after all...... And was correct!

However, seeing as how half my final 4 predictions are also guaranteed to not make it there, I feel as I should amend my Final 4 prediction:
I'm keeping Hamlin, but I will swap Ross, Chase, and Austin with Chris Buescher, Kyle Larson, and William Byron.
