2007 Superspeedway Mod - First time making a mod for nr2003

It's supposed to only affect slightly the front of the chevy, the rest of the car will be the same. (My team and I will rework the existing paints so they can work for the reshaped model) For the 3 other makes, they should work with the paints already made.

I said many "supposed to" since I haven't had time yet to check the models.

Edit: This means the arca sim racing 08 will be messed up (for the chevy), but the reshape was completely worth it over it (more than keeping the original UVs exact). The cars are definitely much more realistic than the old models (based on the pictures RGM sent me)

This week-end I'll try to send pics of the new models in-game (if I have time to reconvert them )

i always noticed the chevys looked odd on the front with how the headlight decals fit but also how bulky the back bumper looks compared to the real cars but i had dissmissed it knowing that it was a rather minor issue compared to the whole mod itself. i also wanted to ask if you ever got any new pictures to show us?

Nope, I only plan to do the SS version and like psugorilla said there's already non SS versions

True but the non-SS versions do not have deploying roof flaps as bc they were never finished due to the COT rolling out in 2008, I will stick to the SNG Cup05 mod for the non-SS bodies

Hello everyone,

I'm now into the process of making the damage model of my mod. The chevy is done. However, I now need textures like tire scrubs and scratches to make the damage look more realistic.

If anyone know where to find good damage textures or have some, it would be very appreciated to get them. I would like to have damaged textures similar to the SNG Cup 03-05.

Also, I want your opinion on the damage model. Should I make the roll cage visible when the car has damage?

just wondering. when the mod comes out, will the ride height be like that? i hope so because thats pretty realistic as in superspeedway races the cars get very low in the corners so i do hope you keep that. also are there any update photos reguarding the new chevys? would love to see those

The ride height will be the lowest possible to not have clipping. For the photos, we are waiting to have the reshaping completely done. We are working hard andI hope to release the mod soon!

DAAAYYUMM, those are some nice looking cars! If I didn't know any better I'd not even know I was looking at a video game. Now I'm even more excited for this mod to come out.

Keep up the good work, but also take your time. I know it will be more than worth the wait once it drops

A question: What paint schemes are planned to be included? I'm certain the primaries will be in this mod, but will you be doing all of the Gen 4 Superspeedway cars, or just those that you "vibe" with so to speak.

I made a Google Doc for all the cars that will be included in the mod. All of the cars that qualified for the Daytona 500, Aarons 499, and Pepsi 400 will be included as well as some DNQs.
