Hello.
I am currently working on a classified project of mine, and I kinda need to know, in 2003, how was the purse for each race split up?
Like how was it determined how much each driver/team was awarded?

Contingency Program.

Nascar paid based upon finish position. There were certain laps that paid using sponsors. Then there was the contingency program that paid according to the decals on the cars. It is not a set formula each race was different.

I want to say that Racing Reference shows the earnings for each team each race, though I could be wrong. If it does it would be difficult to get exact figures for how each payout is decided, but it might at least give you an idea.
