  • After a lot of thought and conversations within the community, we’re happy to announce that Stunod Racing will not be shutting down. The incredible support we’ve seen from all of you has played a huge role in this decision, and we’re truly grateful to everyone who values and contributes to what makes this community so special.

    We’ve been exploring ways to manage the costs of keeping Stunod Racing up and running, as the current expenses felt unsustainable. We considered moving conversations to Discord or creating a standalone site for file hosting, but those options didn’t really fit what most of the community wants or the experience we aim to provide.

    Here’s the plan moving forward: Stunod Racing will remain open, but we’ll be making some changes to how files are hosted. There will be a few upfront costs during this transition, but these updates will help reduce our expenses over time and make things more manageable in the long run. We’ve been working with a few members and programmers to figure out the best solutions, and while there are still some details to iron out, we’re confident we’re heading in the right direction.

    Thank you for sticking with us and being patient as we work through these changes. With your support, we’ll ensure Stunod Racing continues to be a place for creativity, collaboration, and connection in the racing community.

You're welcome, Rob. I had just started the new Chase Elliott car recently. I will have ASA Stars and Southern Super Series versions done. But, I don't have enough cars yet for either series to post. So, I figured Chase is very popular and people may like it. That's why I've decided to do generic versions of cars I'm doing now. You can run them NOW and there are no identifying windshield banners or contingencies. I know people who run sets based more on cars they like or drivers they like. So, there are probably guys running Super Late Models against Pro Late Models and Late Model Stocks. That's the fun of the sim. Anyways.... going forward that's my plan. I'll release generic versions until a decent set is made. But, I will probably continue to add to the series and will update the roster lists accordingly with each batch I upload. And... I still have the Snowball Derby set to finish.... and a template or two.... and.... LOL

The amount of high quality content that's been coming out for the NR2003 short track community recently has been incredible! The addition of your awesome Late Models is just another brick in the wall in building that momentum. Thanks, Ron.

Well... when we have talented people like yourself and your team cranking out awesome short tracks, it certainly gives more incentive to do so. I believe what my content is well-received and that is encouraging. I used to paint FOR ME and share with the community. But, now I'm trying to create what others may want to see. Of course, I want to see it done as well. That's why I took on the crazy notion of making a whole Snowball Derby set. Look forward to seeing your future creations.
