WIP 1972 Can Am Carset @ Riverside Can Am WKC (WIP)

THIS IS NOT THE CARSET!!!!!

So I'm doing this carset on the Redline GTP Toyota model to have some vintage Can Am racing fun in NR2003. I chose the Toyota because if you ripped off the enclosed cockpit, removed the head and tail lights you'd have something akin to a Can Am car...all the other models in the GTP mod wouldn't have served the purpose, that being to show off the paint schemes.

This simply a collection of era correct logos, included are Porsche, McLaren and Lola make logos to help differentiate the cars on the track. As stated in the README layer in the template, there has been no effort to add layers to make this Toyota look like a McLaren M8F or M20 or Porsche 917-10 or Lola T163, etc...just the makes names that help the illusion along a bit. As you can see from the screen capture above, it's just 1972 Can Am paint schemes on the Toyota GTP car. It works in a strange and glorious way....

So when you go to painting yourself a driver to compete against these cars, be mindful that there are Valvoline and Castrol, Koni and Bilstein, Shell and Gulf decals you don't want to be having both on your car, your sponsor would drop you...so pay attention to what you're leaving on your paint. Various types of number roundels are also included.

I would encourage folks to spend a little time and look at images of 1972 Can Am cars so you can get a feel for what the era looked like.
