9/10 Through the F1 grid. Only McLaren to go!
The other 8 are found here: ( Mercedes | Red Bull | Alfa Romeo | AlphaTauri | Alpine | Williams | Aston Martin | Ferrari )
This set includes Mick Schumacher's #47 and newly announced and returning Kevin Magnussen's #20.
The whole grid should be finished in the next couple of days, with only McLaren left now. I'll release a complete set that will include a few alternate schemes and Test/Reserve drivers. The release should be complete in time for the Bahrain GP next weekend.
As always, I replaced the usual Nascar branding with F1 logos (Cup Series decal, Nascar Race Car decal, Goodyear branding). I've included versions of both cars with the usual Nascar branding still in tact though, in case anyone wants to plug these cars in to their own sim seasons at some point. There's an image attached that compares the two versions.
The schemes on these cars are based on the new 2022 Haas livery without Uralkali branding. I contemplating uncluding Nikita Mazepin, along with the Uralkali livery in the final mod, but ultimately I don't think anyone is going to miss him from the sport, or my car set much at all. As far as this paint. I had a tough time with the numbers on this year's livery. They used an in-line font this year that I had a tough time recreating in a palatable fashion, so I ultimately elected to just do away with it entirely in favor of what I felt was the most appealing version of the number I had tried. Other than that I tried to capture how relatively blank the car is, much like the Williams earlier. There are very very few logos on the Haas, so I wanted the NCS22 scheme to reflect that, rather than slapping the biggest possible Haas logo I could on it.
